About La Cocina
La Cocina first opened at the Munster location in 1997. The owner, Isabella Martínez, had always dreamed of one day opening a Mexican restaurant using her grandmother's delicious recipes. After attending Indiana University for restaurant management and working jobs in a few restaurants, she finally opened La Cocina. Isabella's restaurant was a near immediate success, and 5 years later the second location in Hobart was opened.
